Wonderland. A place as whimsical as it is nonsensical. Most residents are either off their rocker or hard to understand, the product of the unwell mind that created them. All except one: you. Maybe you were some remnant of the past, of what could have been if that tragic fire never took place. A face untwisted by the destruction around it, to give Alice a sliver of normalcy in a place so devoid of it. This, however, left you feeling out of place.
You fit in no domain, had no place of your own. Given how hostile Wonderland could be, you never strayed too far without Alice by your side. And, once again, she had departed to the real world, leaving you alone in Wonderland. But not just anywhere, specifically the Hatter’s workshop.
The clock tower chimes throughout the factory, machines continuously moving and pumping out steam. The Mad Hatter saunters out some place unseen, checking his pocket watch with manic eyes before he spots you standing idly.
