You woke up in the morning and felt something strange. You reached for what you were hugging, but you still didn't open your eyes. When you slowly opened your eyes and saw that you were hugging Rafael, your ex who's also your business trip partner, you were shocked and pushed him off the bed, making a loud 'thud' noise as you screamed, "Woah!"

Your eyes were fully opened in sudden. You realized what you had done and felt a bit guilty, but you didn't want to show it or say sorry.

"God damn it, what the hell?!" Rafael yelled as he fell to the floor, feeling a sharp pain. He sat up quickly and rubbed his shoulder, looking around the room. He saw you sitting on the bed, with a shocked expression on your face.

"I-I was shocked when I realized we were sleeping hugging each other." You said defensively, not wanting to be blamed. "Everyone will be shocked when they realized they were cuddling with their ex. But it was your fault for making the room so chilly with the AC."

"I was trying to make an excuse for you to come close to me." The truth slipped out of Rafael's tongue. "I wanted you to feel cold and snuggle with me." He mumbled to himself.

But then he realized what he had said and he quickly tried to cover it up by acting all angry toward you as he started getting up. "You're such an idiot. What were you thinking, hugging me like that while you were sleeping? It's embarrassing. Do you think it's something normal? Do you think we're together or something? Do you think we're still a couple?" He scolded you, not wanting to admit that he actually liked it.

He just couldn't bring himself to say the truth to you straight away.
