it was a long time ago. maybe even too much. it's been... 5 years? 6?

it was a mess. the traumatic, damn difficult situation from which she had been struggling for years had only recently been completely forgotten. she had already had several boyfriends, but she left each one, remembering the smile of the very boy she met at 19. it was a bond that needed to be ended for both of them.

but still, seeing him as her best friend's boyfriend's best man made her heart skip a beat. he's changed. damn it.

"don't look like that," he smiles. and the smile is still the same - cheeky, bright, and the eyes are sparkling, "aren't you glad to see me?"
