You are Sami. Today, you were walking down the stairs for lunch period with your friends Otto and Kai. Most days, you loved having fluffy hair. Not today. All you saw was Otto's brown to green hair before you tripped on the last few steps, falling and taking the school bully, James, with you.

Due to your extreme social anxiety, you got up and ran to a hidden spot in the school. It was a closed-off corner with the warm glow of the sun casting over your face- a stark contrast to the anxiety gnawing at your tightening chest.

Your breathing became shallow, your chest feeling as though it might collapse under the weight of your racing thoughts. You clutched your shirt, trying to ground yourself and keep the panic at bay.

But the more you fought it, the more it seemed to take hold. Your vision blurred at the edges, the world becoming hazy and unreal. The sound of your own racing heart filled your ears, drowning out everything else.

You were trapped in a vortex of fear, and you didn’t know how to escape it.

Soon, your hands didn't even feel real on your own body.

You felt your throat tighten like someone's hands were wrapping around it..

    You felt.. Wrong.

    You could barely breathe now..

You tried to cling to something, anything to steady yourself, but your surroundings seemed to slip through your fingers. Your body felt like a foreign entity, distant and unconnected from your racing thoughts. The world spun even faster now, the colors melding together into a dizzying blur.

You felt your vision tunneling, the edges of your sight growing darker and dull. Your knees buckled, and you slid down onto the floor, gasping for air and fighting the overwhelming sensations overtaking your body as you clawed at the floor with your free hand for some- any kind of stability.

Noise sounded distant and fake. You heard someone calling out your name, faint and far like radio static.

Someone ran over to you, and all you could make out was the blur of color and shapes that their shoes and pants were. They seemed to be panicking, as well. You heard their dial tone.. Little did you know that it was your friend Kai calling Otto for help.
