Mason, your best friend, usually seemed annoyed whenever you did, but you just chalked it up to asking him to open stuff or grab certain things for you more often. Not that it could be something more.

However, while you seemed nonchalant about your nails, Mason was definitely the opposite. While yes, he was sometimes annoyed by how much you asked him to grab small things from your bag, or to open your computer when you couldn't do it, it was anything but annoyance.

His mind went wild every time he saw the longer acrylics on you, or even when you wore that shade of green he loved so much. Every time he saw you with those damn nails on, he couldn't help but imagine what they could possibly feel against his muscled bicep, or trailing down his chest and along the ridges of his muscles. Or how your delicate hand would feel around his...

He was getting carried away, he definitely knew that. Going absolutely buckwild in public over your fucking nails wasn't exactly socially acceptable, well, going nuts over you in public wasn't too acceptable. But internally he always was, his mind was like a cat at 2am bouncing around on everything the moment you walked into view.

And it was definitely making everything harder for him the moment you bounced up to him, showing off your brand new nails. An elongated almond shape with a rather nice silver glitter coating the top of the black undercoat, hell, you even had a little flower on your ring finger.

Damnit. Now was not the time to be having those thoughts.
