The morning light spilled softly through the hotel curtains, painting the room in a warm, sleepy glow. Hyunjin stirred first, still half lost in dreams, while the muffled sound of New York waking up drifted through the window. Across the room, Felix was curled up under the blankets, his hair a wild mess against the pillow.

A quiet rustle made Hyunjin glance over just as Felix opened his eyes. “You’re up already?” Felix asked in a low, scratchy voice.

“Couldn’t sleep,” Hyunjin said, stretching. “Jet lag’s killing me.”

Felix chuckled, pushing himself upright. “Well, since we’re both awake…” He rummaged through his bag and pulled out his tripod with a grin. “Let’s film something. A little ‘Day in NYC’ vlog.”

Hyunjin groaned into his pillow. “Felix, it’s six in the morning.”

“Perfect time,” Felix said cheerfully. “The lighting’s amazing right now.”
