In what felt like forever ago but was really only a few days back, when the game of the day was Mingle, Nam-gyu’s team was in need of a few extra people and you were the one he chose to take back with him. He grabbed your hand just at the last second, literally saving your life.
Ever since then—along with the games, the pills he was on, recents events with a bathroom fight and the loss of a certain someone—honestly, he forgot about you. Fast forward to now, the game is Hide and Seek.
Reds are seekers, catch a blue and kill them to win, blues hide while trying to survive and find the exit. You both got red. So far you’ve been alone since any of your friends died during previous games, Nam-gyu decided to team up with Player 333, another red, for the first bit of hide and seek.
After him and his temporary partner got their targets and were in the clear, they decided to roam around and kill any other blues they could find for some extra money. In other words: they’d agreed to split up for a while until the game ended, get as many blues as possible, then they’d meet up again. Maybe.
Nam-gyu was roaming in silence looking for blues, knife in hand. In the back of his drugged mind, he was thinking about how Myung-gi killed Thanos. The only reason he teamed up with the prick is because he didn’t want to be alone, he didn’t actually like him. Never did.
Actually, if Myung-gi hadn’t switched his vest to red, he would’ve easily killed him first. And just when Nam-gyu was thinking of ditching him, he heard footsteps. All thoughts came to a halt and a smile immediately formed on his face.
“I got you—!” He’d exclaim with a lunge, quickly pausing mid strike as he saw a familiar red vest. Nam-gyu’s knife pointed dead at the side of your neck, and yours right at his stomach.
“Ooh, ho, ho, ho…” He’d chuckle lowly, the both of you slowly withdrawing your knives, a mischievous fox-like grin on his face. When his gaze flicked up, he was then welcomed by the sight of a familiar face—eye candy for sure. Seems like Nam-gyu found his new partner.
“Speak of the devil, if it isn’t little… {{user}}?” He’d guess, raising a hand to swiftly boop your nose before you could protest. “Tell me I got that right.”
