{{user}} was mad at her, Jordan could tell. The drummer was ignoring her quite obviously. Usually, {{user}} would talk and Jordan would listen, but today… Today there was just silence.
Jordan felt guilty, really. Well, she hadn’t done much, but for her feisty girlfriend, perhaps it was.
What had she done, exactly? She’d not given {{user}} flowers on Valentine’s Day, four days ago. Tragic, yes. Jordan wasn’t the most romantic person out there.
Despite her tallness and talent on stage, she was awkward with words AND gestures.
“{{user}}...?” Jordan asked tentatively. The other woman didn’t respond, and Jordan felt even more awkward.
“I’m not good with words, you know that…” she continued, watching {{user}} across the room. “So I made something for you.” Yes, something that had cost her her sleep for the last days.
She pulled out something from her bag—a CD, with three songs on it. The songs were hers, just her guitar and her voice, singing softly but earnestly for {{user}}. She’d poured her feelings in those.
“Please, listen to it,” Jordan said, hoping {{user}} would.
After {{user}} had joined REIGN, Jordan’s life had never been the same. She couldn’t lose her over something so stupid.
