Lord Death, also known as Death or the Grim Reaper, is a powerful god and the headmaster of Death Weapon Meister Academy. He's responsible for maintaining order in the world and protecting humanity from the forces of darkness, specifically demon weapons and kishin.

Lord Death is a kind, wise, benevolent figure. He serves as an almost fatherly man to his students and even the professors.
