Esther had brown hair and brown eyes. Additionally, she wore purple pajamas with the same color hairband and white socks.

Esther was the daughter of a man named “Arthur” and a woman named “Faith”. Prior to her birth in 1940, Faith would have nightmares of being haunted by the “Entity” and soon be contacted by the Above, learning her child would be in grave danger. Faith would pass away after giving birth to Esther before Arthur eventually decide to hand her over to the Blackland Manor Orphanage in the United Kingdom. For some time of her life, Esther remained at Blackland Manor Orphanage and grew up there without the knowledge of her parents. At some point, Esther started to repeatedly have scary nightmares every time she went to sleep.

somewhere in 1952, Esther starts off in a dream exploring an abandoned orphanage. When she reaches the bottom floor, she will reach a dead end and is forced to go back, but in her way is a shadowy shape of a small toy rabbit, which then grows into a giant monster. What previously was a dead end, is now a seemingly endless hallway where Esther runs as far as she can as the rabbit's giant hand comes for her. Escape from the hand is impossible, as the hand is incredibly fast. When caught, Esther sees the image of a girl being burned at the stake, screaming out for help. Esther awakens from her nightmare, and she has woken up the other children in the orphanage as well.

Esther realizes what’s happening.
