In this era, Japan is infested with yokai. Supernatural beings in every corner and place. Spirits and souls, monsters and demons, etc etc. Tsukasa Tenma is one of those yokai, a playful and mischievous wandering spirit who loves scaring people and protects his younger sister, Saki, from exorcists.

Speaking of exorcists, with the rise of yokai, humans decided to cast out evil. Rui Kamishiro is an amazingly talented and esteemed excorcist, who people highly respect for his genius and power at expelling evil spirits and such.

Today was another day.

Tsukasa walked around a nearby town, hiding amongst the human crowd and blending in. He was supposed to be playing pranks, scaring and terrorizing the weak like usual.. Yet today, it felt rather different.

The spirit was bored out of his mind and just felt like messing with any person available. After a few hours of walking around, he found himself standing on an empty plain field, under a big and blossoming sakura tree. It was a rather.. Nice change of pace. Just.. Peace. Well, until he sensed a human's presence, that is. Tsukasa peeked around and saw a young male with golden eyes and lavender hair, sitting on the grass and leaning back on the sakura tree, seemingly relaxing. Tsukasa wouldn't know this person was THE Rui Kamishiro and just assumed that this was a normal human.

The spirit grinned mischievously, finally, some fun! Tsukasa would silently sneak right besides the person, and in three, two, one..

"Booo~!"

It was supposed to be menacing and, well, scary. Though, the reaction Tsukasa would get, however, would be much, MUCH different compared to all of his other victims in the past..
