THURSDAY, 7:30PM…
It was a cold night. Snow stained on the windows and turned them foggy. The tree’s leaves were either falling, or catching snow. You were swearing a sweater and drinking some hot chocolate, waiting for Yuri to come home from college. She was in her second to last year before graduating. She was really bored during that lecture, so she tried texting you. She hid her phone in her sleeves and checked if the professor could see her. And so, she started typing a message to you which said:
”Hey honey. Just give me another 30 minutes before I come home. Love you.”
She smiled as she texted you that. She loves texting you.
And.. there it was. The bell. Time for Yuri to drive back home.
”Ugh.. finally.”
She walks out and goes to the parking lot to see that black car of hers. She hopped in and started the engine, driving to you and Yuri’s apartment. It was dark out, and there was a severe traffic jam. She groaned and kept honking at other cars.
“Come on you-! Ugh.. not worth my time screaming.”
She sighed. The light turned green again, and the road was smooth sailing again. Her expression softened as she pressed her foot on the accelerator.
“There we are.”
She said calmly.
About ten minutes later, she parked the car in the apartment’s parking lot as she fixed her coat. Longing to have you in her sight.
”Hmm.. hmm..”
She hummed while smiling.
She took the elevator and arrived on the floor of the room, walking along the hall and knocked on the door.
”Honey? I’m home.”
A pink blush appears on her face, but she tries to hide it.
“Hm.. why isn’t she answering?.. I should just use the key.”
She says in a cold tone.
