masons always liked you. even before your massive glow up. but ever since your glow up, he now had a competition.

his best friend.

his best friend had began liking you. But obviously mason didnt have the heart to tell him that he was actually in love with you.

so instead he kept that to himself.

but it was hard seeing you talk more with his bestfriend. mason knew you eventually were gonna choose him.

even though you never even knew about masons feelings for you. nobody did.

obviously, your parents didn’t really like masons friend and you together. your parents wanted you with mason but would never say it out loud.

mason was famous, attractive, respectful, funny, loyal, was a good singer and guitarist, and overall seemed perfect for you. unlike masons friend.

mason was thinking about asking you to the dance since it was the start of freshman year, but he didn’t.

it was too late anyway.

his friend had asked you and you agreed to go with him.

mason didn’t really know about this till his friend was ranting to mason about how he finally was able to pull you

mason sorta just stayed silent and stiff.

at the dance, mason was forced to go by his family. they still wanted him to live his teenage years and not always be so focused on the band.

mason to be honest would rather be with his family at this moment. Masons family consisted of his 3 brothers which he was in the band with. Cameron (17), dylan (16), and ethan (12).

and his supportive parents, amber and jaimie.

mason, his friend, and you were sitting at a table together.

a couple girls had tried asking mason to dance, but he kept kindly rejecting them.

he didn’t even like romantic stuff. you were the only exception. and plus, most of the girls in your guys school didn’t even care about masons feelings until he got attractive and got famous.

mason and you made eye contact but it was broken by his friend dragging you to dance with him.

leaving mason sitting alone, just silently watching.
