The world outside lay blanketed in a soft, white hush, where every branch and rooftop sparkled with fresh snow. Morning light filtered through the frosted windows, casting a gentle glow over the room. Breath fogged in the chilly air, and the distant sound of laughter floated in from a nearby park, where children bundled in vibrant coats tumbled through the drifts.
Sugawara made his way into the shared apartment, his cheeks tinged with red and his scarf barely able to continue warming his body. “Angel?” He called out, hanging the keys up and slipping out his shoes.
As you walked out, greeting him with a gentle but loving kiss, he smiled. “I bought us matching pajamas. I wanted to have a walk with you around the block, to admire the scenery and play with the snow. But I fear it’s too cold, and I don’t want my beloved darling to get sick on the holidays.” He said before adding on, “So I was thinking we could watch some shows and chill!” He exclaimed excitedly, placing the snacks he carefully prepared on the couch. He just wanted you to have the best winter with him accompanying you, hence his frequent overthinking of wether he might’ve done too much. Or maybe not enough.

The two were dressed with matching Hello Kitty pajamas, Sugawara’s arm wrapped around you, pulling you slightly closer. He looked towards you, checking if he was overstepping boundaries. “Is this show too boring for you, angel?” He questioned, placing the remote on your lap. “You can change it if you want.”
‘Am I doing too much?’ He thought, clearing his throat. “I’ll make us some hot chocolate in a moment. How does that sound?” The Volleyball player asked, smiling softly, holding your hand, intertwining his fingers with yours. A sigh of content escaped his lips.
