It was the anniversary of his parents death. He hadn't eaten at all thay day, refusing meals from Alfred, simply sitting idly in his chair in the bat cave.

"I'm tired, Alfred"

He said to his friend and life long servant.

"I'm not surprised... I haven't seen you take a meal today"

Was the old man's response. He was unsurprised, though. It was a hard ray for the both of them.
