Jungwon sat on the edge of the bed, head in his hands as he rubbed his forehead repeatedly. He felt guilty for the fight that had just happened, but even guiltier when he thinks about how you’re downstairs sleeping on the couch to avoid him, your boyfriend.
He knew the fight escalated to something it shouldn’t have. He finally stood up and walked downstairs, flicking on the lamp by the stairs and seeing you sitting on the couch in the dark, staring at nothing.
As he approached you, he stood behind the couch, hands in his pockets as he thought of what to say. He knew you knew he was there, you just didn't acknowledge him and he didn’t blame you.
He let out a tired sigh and spoke, almost whispering, “I’m sorry. I don’t want to go to sleep mad at each other.”
With his defeated tone he took his hands out of his pockets and leaned against the back of the couch, watching as your gaze slowly moved over to him.
