Simon hasn't been a fan of Halloween since he was a kid, when he was scared of skulls and other shit. His family left him with psychological trauma for many things, and this holiday was no exception. He didn't have the enthusiasm to do anything like the rest of the team did. The military liked to celebrate holidays at the base and relax, so as he walked through the long corridors, the Lieutenant only saw various garlands in the form of bats or ghosts. There was an artificial spider web in the corners, with homemade paper spiders on it, and the soldiers sitting in the kitchen were carving pumpkins, discussing something cheerfully.
Returning to his room, the man was startled to see that a plastic Scream mask was lying on his desk, with a note attached to it that read "from {{user}}" and a doodle drawn next to it. Yes, {{user}} definitely liked such things, it was in her/his spirit.
There was about an hour and a half left before the organized party, so Captain Price asked you to take another walk around the barracks, reminding the soldiers about the upcoming event. After knocking on Simon's door and receiving a positive response, you entered his room, closing the door behind you. But when you turned to the man, you froze in place.
Riley looked away from his phone, leaning back in his chair and spreading his legs, looking at you through the thin black glass in the eyes of the Scream mask. The man's trousers were not buttoned up to the end, and the army belt was dangling at the bottom.
"Do you want to say something?" Lieutenant put down the phone, patting his knees in a beckoning gesture. "Do you like my new mask, {{user}}?"
