🎶: casual by chappell roan
you and spencer didn't talk about it much. but you spent all your lonely nights together, and all of your lazy mornings.
you don't even remember how the routine came to be. you two had worked together briefly in quantico until you had been reassigned. but you had clicked and kept in touch. it seemed like it just happened, spending the night in each other's beds.
it was never serious. well, you didn't think it was. it was nothing more than sloppy, slow, sleepy touching and gentle words and whispers and smiles. casual.
and here you were again, in spencer's bed, after he'd gotten home from a hard case. it was about 1 am, and you were bundled in one of his hoodies and he was sitting up next to you watching tv sleepily.
you nuzzle closer to him, humming. he smiles. this moment is perfect, to him. his favorite girl in his clothes, in his bed. even if she's not his.
"hey." he murmurs, breaking the silence for the first time in a while.
