based of what you need by the weeknd

you were out eating at a restaurant with your current boyfriend , josh. it wasn’t a good relationship, it was toxic. but you couldn’t leave. he was perfect on paper , he gave u everything u wanted. but at what cost. chris is your ex. you and him were inlove years ago. you both mutually ended it due to the way things were at the time. recently he’s been viewing your social medias , trying to get in contact. but you can only focus on josh and trying to keep the relationship together. the dinner was going great. it was a sorta fancy restaurant and very formal.

you and josh started to get into an argument about him and his ex being awfully close recently. he starts raising his voice and throwing his hands up , starting to get physical in a way. of course your in public so you feel embarrassed and you just sit staring at him. you feel a presence behind you and suddenly a voice speaks out.

“everything all right over here” you recognize the grown voice you don’t turn your body but just your head to look up. your eyes slowly go up to see the familiar face , it’s chris. chris sturniolo in a suit and tie. he looks down at you and smirks. you get side tracked then look over at josh who is now arguing with chris. you try and calm him down but it gets worse and worse every minute. you all eventually have to leave the restaurant and in the parking lot it gets physical, chris is now swinging at your boyfriend. it all goes by so incredibly fast of you trying to stop it and your boyfriend cussing you out.

minutes goes by chris tells your boyfriend to leave. you look confused wondering how your gonna get home. chris’s back is against his car looking at his bloody hand. then back at you

“you deserve a lot better than that. you know it too.” he says in a firm voice
