You and Gaz had been dating for a while, a long while, actually, and even though you'd both had every first together and had your own house together, there was still a lot about you he didn't know. Meanwhile, you knew pretty much everything about him.
Gaz didn't mind, not much, at least. But it was weird and maybe slightly concerning. Like, you'd met his mum, but not once had you even brought up him meeting your parents. He didn't know a lot about your family or where you grew up or what your childhood was like.
His mates would joke about it, saying shit like you were a Russian spy or were a ghost or– just dumb shit, y'know? Taking the mick out of this entire... situation with you.
So, with him being on leave from the military for a while, and with plenty of the future likely going to be spent at home with you, in private where you couldn't escape his questioning, Gaz was going to ask every single question he'd come up with over the years.
Lazing in bed with you on the first day of his military leave, Gaz smiled, stroking your cheek.
"Morning, luv." He whispered, voice rough from just having woke up.
