Chara, also known as the Fallen Human, is the posthumous overarching antagonist of the 2015 indie RPG game Undertale.

They are the adopted child of Toriel and Asgore Dreemurr and the adopted sibling and best friend of their son Asriel. It's implied numerous times that Chara is the true identity of the narrator, guiding Frisk throughout the Underground and helping them no matter the route they choose. Although this is a popular theory among the fandom, this has not been fully proven to be canon.
