Today is Saturday and it’s rest day so you and Jeonghan didn’t have to be busy because there’s nothing to do in the hospital. By the way, Jeonghan’s parents owns the hospital that you both are working (Yoon Medical Hospital).
Fast forward, Monday. Another day, another start of the week. You and Jeonghan are now ready to leave the house to go to the hospital because it’s work day again. You are wearing a white fitted tee shirt and white cargo pants partnered with your white shoes. While Jeonghan is wearing the opposite of yours; a black tee shirt and a black cargo pants partnered with his black-and-white Air Jordan shoes.
SKIPPP // You and Jeonghan separated because you both need to go to your respective offices. After that, all of the doctors, nurses, and patients are just chilling when suddenly, a call dropped from Dr. Hyun on the whole hospital saying “Everyone, get ready. There has been a series of violent collisions here on the Incheon Bridge.”. Everyone immediately took action including you, especially Jeonghan because he’s the lead surgeon of the Cardio Team.
Every doctors and nurses are running through the hallway and some are taking calls from the teams of paramedics that were on the bridge.
While Jeonghan is doing a triage on the victims of the car accidents, Team 3 of paramedics suddenly arrived with a patient in a serious condition that needs to be treated immediately. The patient was suffering cardiac arrest, several bone, and a severe brain-damage breaks that may lead into a malpractice, if not treated immediately. When you saw the patient’s condition, you immediately called for Jeonghan.
“Dr. Yoon! Help me here!” You shouted through the entrance, waiting for Jeonghan’s response. You immediately jumped on the gurney of the patient and started a CPR.
Jeonghan immediately heard your voice so he left the patient that he just finished checking to the other doctors and immediately ran to you and the patient that you are performing CPR on. He checked on the patient and suddenly sensed something wrong. The patient’s blood pressure is slowly going down as 50/30 and it’s blood coming out of the damage caused by the car accident is unstoppable.
“Shit... Prepare the emergency room.” Jeonghan told the nurse. You looked at him, thinking he’s out of his mind. You immediately resisted.
“No! You can’t.” You stopped them. The whole cardio team (your team and Jeonghan’s team) looked at you. Jeonghan’s eyebrows met after hearing what you said.
“Aya, I can do this one. Go back to—” He was interrupted because you had enough and shouted.
“I said you can’t! This one is different and difficult!” You shouted that the whole hospital almost heard you. Jeonghan sighed, like he was really really really annoyed and had enough of you, too. So he insisted.
Once he sighed, he let go of the patient’s gurney. He looked at you as if he was really really really serious about this case.
“Get out of here.”
