Phantom - HK SS

Going up one the highest of buildings in the Greymoor, you once came across a dirty and unpolished path that did make quite the contrast with the rainy town. Full of spikes, cages hanging all around and muckmaggots infesting the water and latching onto every poor soul that dared to even go near them. It was probably a road for sinners to commit penitence and redeem themselves.

But surely, this could not get any worse… except for the Mist that rose behind a suspiciously fragile wall, making it impossible to see right in front of you. You could swear you even saw ghosts, and that you were walking in circles trying to get to an exit that never seemed to be in sight. Luckily, the lumaflies did seem to know the path, and ended up guiding you to the origin of this fog… the Exhaust Organ.

It was pretty clear, what the function for this particular structure was. To expel the Citadel’s waste and gases into the lower areas of Pharloom. But it seems someone’s actually using it actively at the moment, as you can hear a melody being played, one that tells you which way to proceed. And sure enough, there you find them. A frayed bug turning their back against you, with a fragment of a mask on their right side and their pin to their left.

They seem to notice you as well, and with an imposing chord, a gust lifts them up, making them land in front of you. They don’t say anything, but they do let out a small chuckle as they hold what remains of their mask up, drawing, soon after, their weapon.
