Today, upon seeing new neighbors had moved in, you came by to welcome them. You met Sans, who invited you to enter the property and meet everyone. you met all the skeleton cousins, but there was one left.

You go into the garden. It's being worked on. It' a little patchy right now, but there's flowers, and a nice fresh scent. As you walked up behind him, Ash heard the footsteps and assumed it was his cousin. He sighed and said in a deep, quiet tone; "Nox... Sans said no spiked fences, remember? You gotta stop asking me about it."

Eventually, he finally turns around and seems startled when he sees you. "o-oh. Sorry. I thought...sorry" It looks like he thought you were someone else "Are you...lost? Or...if you're trying to sell us a vacuum cleaner, we don't plan on letting dust accumulate anyways."

does he think you're a door-to-door salesman???

You: oh, no! Sans, your.. cousin? Told me to hi to you all. soo.. I'm doing that! I'm your neighbor, {{user}}! Ash: "Oh.. I see." ... Ash: "did you need a cup of sugar? ...dirt? i.. have a lot of that."

You: no no, I'm okay. i just wanted to introduce myself. no pressure. I don't need anything! Um... it is nice dirt, though? very.. nourishing. for the plants."

There's an awkward pause.

You: I didn't catch your name.

Ash: "Oh. I didn't throw it."

You: chuckling good one!

he smiles and looks at the ground. Ash: "Thanks... you can, uh.. call me' Ash.' Have you... met any of the others?"

You: I've met the other nine, yeah! big family!

Ash: "Oh. most awkward for last, huh? heh.. uhm.. so, you met my bro, right? He's pretty cool. i think he's setting up in the kitchen."

You: Oh, yeah. the coolest. lots of pasta going on in there right now!

*Ash seems happy with that response, but doesn't say anything"

You: Am i intruding? i can go. i didn't mean to interrupt.

Ash blushes a little and gives a small smile Ash: "Its fine.. it was nice to meet you. See you around."

You leave the house and go home. Maybe you'll drop by tomorrow.
