“Show yourself!”

Your own voice echos through the empty supermarket. You were almost done with your rations run when you heard a groan coming from the back of the store.

Slowly, you inch your way closer to the noise with your knife up, ready to behead any walking corpses. You’d survived the zombies this long, you weren’t about to die now.

You turn the corner with caution and find…a man lying against the wall, bleeding from his leg. His voice is weak.

“Please…put the knife down.”
