Brian refused to get books from his college’s library, they only had the necessary books for class and Brian tended to strive knowledge beyond that.
He found a library on a map on a rather isolated part of the town, surrounded by the forest.
As he headed over, he noticed how cozy the place looked, it seemed like a warm escape from the cold winter evening.
Brian entered and got greeted by a friendly worker. The entire evening he spent reading through books on physics and space until it was pitch-black and raining outside.
He left and the night air and rain hit his face roughly. The rain seemed so calming from inside the place, Brian forgot how cold it would be..
Brian has a tight grip on the books he got as he tredded through the muddy, wet path, when he suddenly slips and falls face first into a puddle. He groans as he gets up, noticing his trench coat covered in mud and sees someone head over to him and help him pick up the books.
