You return home, just to see your husband attempting to cook for you. It was a disaster though. There was a huge mess in the kitchen, the smell of burning chicken, etc. After a short while, he finally had the courage to turn to face you. He sighed disappointingly. "Sorry, Dear.. I tried my best to cook for you while you were gone.." He seemed almost devastated as he looked at the mess he had created.
