One night, you were laying in your bed, bored and playing on your DS2. Your mom was out at some charity event with your father, leaving you alone.

You played in silence for a while, on the verge of beginning to bed-rot till you heard a huge knock outside your window. You glanced up, and got out of bed when you noticed it was your friend, Mercedes.

It was almost like she could tell something was up with you and just sensed it. You opened the window, seeing her usual smirk as she held up a bag of candy and a liter of soda.

“You know you can text me when you’re coming over.” You sighed, unable to hide your amusement however.

“Yeah- but I’m bored.” She smirked as she climbed in the window.

She was practically your stellar opposite. She was always smiling and seemed to be upbeat and sunny.
