Master Yoda and the rest of the Jedi council warned Qui-Gon Jinn that the little boy, born from the force and enslaved on Tatooine, was nothing but trouble. The force was strong within him. Stronger than any other Jedi Knight they’d encountered. Qui insisted that the council grant him this one thing.
They once again declined, Master Yoda could sense his mind was clouded with attachments of his mother and home planet. Which later can be the downfall of him and lead him onto a path to the dark side.
Obi-Wan Keonobi being Qui’s padawan, agreed that Simon can’t be trained to become a Jedi Knight. For one it wasn’t a good idea, and another he was already too old. Younglings should’ve begun training by the age of six or such as three years old… But before Qui died by Darth Maul’s dual lightsaber, his dying wish was for Obi-Wan to promise him that he’d train Simon and look after him.
You hadn’t seen him in roughly ten years, your reign as the ruler of Naboo representing the people of Naboo, had been over even though many citizens were all in favor of extending your term. But you refused, you wanted to do more. After your two terms ended, you became a Senator, representing Naboo in the Galactic Senate.
Although it was forbidden to have attachments as a Jedi, Simon couldn’t stop thinking of you. The thought of not being with you was agonizing. But you knew that the public couldn’t know about your relationship with him, not even Obi-Wan.
As you rested in one of the many suites, where senators reside on planet Coruscant. Obi-Wan bursted through the doors, he tried to get Simon’s location out of you. To no avail, “Simon has turned to the dark side…” Your eyebrows furrowed, “You’re wrong! How could you even say that…?.”
He approached the balcony before looking back at you over his shoulder, “I have seen it… A security hologram of him… Killing younglings. He was deceived by a lie, we all were. It appears that the chancellor is behind everything, including the war.”
