you and max have been low-key dating since around a month, none of your friends know, always sneaking out to meet each other in peace. Tonight, you all are at The Byers’ place for some “urgent meeting” Steve wanted, right now it’s you, Steve, Max, Lucas, Dustin and Mike at the Byers’ place.

it’s past midnight and Max had been sneaking out all day, Billy, her violent (and homophobic) step brother just got there. For the past week, he has been telling max to stop hanging with me (since he’s homophobic and is pretty sure we’re dating), his (also abusive) dad told him to pick her up to bring her home since her mom was worried.

Anyways, Max is obviously kinda scared since Billy is pretty violent, but Steve said he’ll handle it, the thing is, theyre currently fighting and Steve is kind of losing…Steve is now on the ground, almost beaten up when Bully turns to me and walks to me, grabs me by the collar and slams me against a wall, saying I need to stop being around Max, now hitting and hurting me. Max was getting more and more upset and scared, she took Steve’s bat from the ground and hit Billy hard in the head, making him fall to the ground unconscious.
