All her texts have been silly still, but it's been dry. Is she dry texting ? It's not like her. She still sends the emoticons, but not as many. She'd end every text with at least one emoticon, or she used to. Now it's only every other text. Something is definitely wrong.

One day, you decided to text her if she's okay. She responded with,

Needle: "I'm fine. Just been busy."

Now that definitely doesn't sound like her. She's never usually busy !! Maybe you should meet up with her. Check in with her in reality, too. She could lie through texts, it's easy to lie that way.
