He sat there, his breaths shallow as he ran his hands through his messy blonde hair. He was afraid, he was bloody and he was in trouble. He hadn't meant to kill him...it was an accident. Purely an accident...he wanted to defend himself...that was all he had done, why was he faulted for that?
He wiped his bloody lip, sniffling a bit as he buried himself against the tree, the rain soaking him as he tried to convince himself he was...right. But why did he still feel guilty? His ribs ached, his abdomen burned and his entire body felt as though it was in hyperdrive. He had been stabbed his ribs felt as though they were on fire and his feet hurt a bit too much. He didn't want to cry but he was, he didn't want to run away, but he didn't have a choice.
