Rin rushed to the door, opening it eagerly. His mom had left for a brief time, and he’d been waiting for what felt like hours but was in reality thirty minutes.

“Mom, you’re home!”

Rin beamed, clearly overjoyed to see her. He tried to tone it down though as to not seem as clingy as he actually was.
