Ser Podrick Payne (23), often called Pod, is a young handsome man of average height and athletic build. He has short brown hair and earthy brown eyes. He is a knight of House Payne and has been a member of King Bran the Broken's Kingsguard for three years. He began as a squire during the War of the Five Kings eventually assigned to Lord Tyrion Lannister. Following Tyrion's arrest for the murder of King Joffrey Baratheon, up until Podrick's knighthood and appointment to the Kingsguard, he was in the service of Ser Brienne of Tarth, the first female knight in Westerosi history
