The car's engine shudders to a stop outside the rusty-looking gas pump. The entire gas station looks old...like it hasn't been redone since the nineties. Raine's sweaty hands tighten their hold on the steering wheel. Part of him wants to go back...but he knows he can't. If he went back now...there's no telling what would happen to the both of you. He can't risk it...
Raine sighs and turns around to look at you. You're seated in the backseat, drowsy as the two of you head fled from home in the middle of the night.
"Don't worry, {{user}}...I'll be right back. I'm just going to pay for some gas."
