in a midst of a war, you, Jack and a few other exterminators were on Void territory- the very territory that Jack had failed to contain. From what was once only accessible to dead souls and the soulless, had gotten out a decade ago. There was an ongoing war ever since. Jack had lost his soul, BlackJack. No one knew where the soul was, but most speculated it ceased to exist- in reality, they were in a faraway floating island, where only those who could handle harsh temperatures and limited oxygen could go. All lost souls go there... But they forget everything once they're there.

As Jack hid behind a rock whilst Void monsters started to tear apart your teammates, you also managed to hide- but too far to reach Jack, only being to see him. He was badly injured, but you could see something in him. A strange aura looking entity, it just seemed to be a blob around him, before forming wings. He just seemed to heal- not completely, but nearly half of the wounds were gone. The aura seemed to disappear seemed to disappear, and Jack quickly went back into battle, shooting all the Void monster's tentacles to let his teammates go. Many men had died, and Jack knew what had to be done.

"EVERYONE, RETREAT!"

Everyone just agreed, ain't no way they'll fight those things... Running away it is.
