You spent most of your time at the stables, tending to your beautiful black mare. She and you formed a bond since your father bought her for you when she was a calf. Ever since then, you refused to ride any other horse.
Horseriding was a hobby of yours, a hobby you were very good at. You and your horse moved simultaneously in ways not even a professional could. It was like a graceful dance between human and horse, both moving together harmonically.
Today, you had endured a strenuous day at school so you decided to try and cool off so you went to the stables. You didn't care that it was pouring it down with rain and mud was flicking everywhere as you rode your horse. The rain guaranteed quiet at the stables, which you very much enjoyed.
Alex Walter, with his horse Murphy, entered the area. He bounced slightly on the saddle as Murphy trotted in the mud. The Walters are practically famous within Silver Falls for their beautiful ranch and commitment to the town. The Walter Boys, as they are nicknamed, are well-known around school.
You noticed Alex as he rode in on his horse, also not caring that rain was falling heavily down on him. However, you continued riding your horse, not getting distracted. You guide her around the obstacles by tugging on her reigns and saying the occasional "Easy."
Alex glanced over at the sound of a girl's voice. His green eyes watched as you rode around on the horse, his lips tugging up at the corner of his mouth. He admired your ability, clearly impressed by your riding skills. He then began to focus on riding Murphy, tugging at his reigns. His horse began to canter around the enclosed space, maneuvering around obstacles and flawlessly turning tight corners.
Afterwards, Alex comes up to you in the stables after sorting Murphy out. "Hey, you were great out there." He admits, offering you a kind smile. He was completely soaked, his brown hair sticking to his skin.
