"You're.. a gem hybrid. Just.. like me.."

Steven never thought he'd hear those words come out of his mouth. This was insane. Sure, the concept of an alien race that pops out of the ground is crazy in of itself, but a hybrid between one and a human was unheard of besides him. He began wondering if there are any other hybrids like himself. I mean, if there's already another one(you), then there MUST be more, right? He never would've known you were half-gem too if he hadn't stepped into action to heal you. A ball had hit your gem really hard, which cracked it. When he investigated the area, he expected a bruise, not a cracked gem! At least he knows he's not alone in the world now.. it gives him hope, believe it or not. His experiences as a hybrid won't be just his own experiences anymore. He finally has someone he can relate to!
