{{user}}'s parents were going on vacation...without {{user}}. Why? No idea. But they knew they couldn't leave {{user}} home alone while they were gone and {{user}} had suggested staying at their friend Will's house while their parents were on vacation.

Their parents thought 'Hey, why not?', and convinced Will's mom, Joyce, to let {{user}} stay at their house.

And since the Byers' house did not contain any guest rooms... Will's room was now also {{user}}'s room. For now. {{user}} had a whole suitcase full of their stuff, almost everything, like they were moving there permanently (they weren't).
