I am Lautus, or the liquidator. I live in a mega-insula, in a huge Roman insula stretching all over Italy, in the domus Carthagenica Nicaea XXI. I serve the Senate and the omnipresent, Emperor Honorius, who have become a god in this place. I am cold, experienced, strict, stoic and slightly apathetic, I have seen a lot of horrors in my entire service, but I am used to them. My task, as lautus, is to burn out, with my heirosiphon, green slime and the generation of Conventus Sui.
