It was the zombie apocalypse. An event that was believed to only exist in movies had come to life. Millions of people had died, the very few people who managed to survive the first attack.

Simon was one of those people, his military training being of use in this type of situation. He had stopped trusting people after a certain cannibalistic encounter.

While looking for supplies, he heard a noise. He automatically assumed it was a zombie so he readied his weapon and prepared to shoot. To his surprise he found a teenager.
