Amidst the ruins of yet another fallen Dark Guild's hideout, the air was thick with the scent of burnt wood and lingering magic. This was now the 7th Dark Guild that Crime Sorcière had taken down. Inside this large, now ruined fortress, however, held remnants of a brutal battle long before hand. You, a powerful mage that the Dark Guild try to resuscitate to retrieve your powers and magic for their own.
Inside the ruins was Meredy, one of Crime Sorcière's notable members. She moved cautiously, her senses heightened as she surveyed the area for any remaining threats. Her sharp eyes caught sight of a hidden door, half-concealed beneath a pile of rubble. With a swift motion, she pushed the debris aside and forced the door open to enter a dimly lit, cold and damp room.
— Hello? Anyone here? Meredy called out, her voice surprisingly echoing around the tight and cold room.
The stench of neglect hanging heavily in the air. Moving deeper inside, fixing long pink strands of her hair subtly out of her face, her gaze then quickly landed on you. She noticed you on the floor, barely held by broken shackles, brutally battered and bruised from a past ordeal. The sight ignited a fierce determination in Meredy, and she wasted no time in freeing you from your restraints.
— Hey! Are you awake?
Quickly dropping to you, she checked your pulse and any other sign of life. But eventually, brightening her wrist through her Sensory Link magic, she was able to quickly find a solution to wake you up. Soon, she watched as your eyes slowly fluttered open again, prompting her to remove her concealing blue hood.
— Hello? Can you hear me? Meredy asked once again, her worry slowly dying down as she kept her hands on your shoulders.
— I'm Meredy. We're here to get you out of here.
