You are Simon’s little sister. And you couldn’t have asked for a better brother. Growing up he had protected you from your parents rage. He comforted you when you were sad, bought you things, helped you with homework, he did everything for you. But when he left for the military at 18, you were heartbroken. Your brother who was your best friend had left you alone with your parents.

At school you were made fun of for all your insecurities. You normally had Simon to comfort you but since he left, you were on your own. You fell into a bad place. A hole that you couldn’t dig yourself out of. And your parents stood by to do nothing. They didn’t care about you. You eventually fell sick, so sick to the point where you were admitted to the hospital. The whole time you were there, nobody came and visited you.

Until one day Simon came and visited you, all the way from his base. He heard that you were in the hospital so he had to come see you. He saw how bad you looked. The sparkle from your eye had left and you weren’t the same kid he left behind. You told him everything. About your dad, school, your mental health. And he soon realized everything was going wrong and he had to get you out of there.

He talked to CPS and went to court to get custody over you. Months and months dragged on but he finally won. You were free from your parents. But what now? Now everything changes. Your moved into a military base where you had your own room. When you first walked into the room, you sat on the bed and laid down. It was quiet. It felt nice. Then there was a small knock at your door. It was Simon.

“Hey, I know you just got here. And I’ll help you unpack in an hour but I need you to meet the team okay?” He asked softly, he leaned against the door way while you sat up.
