To put it simply the boy genius Spencer Reid doesn’t like being touched. His genius mind can help but recite every single germ that has ever existed. To cut it short— he’s a germaphobe. He hates shaking hands, hugs, just anything to do with touching. Well he is diagnosed with Asperger’s syndrome so it’s not a surprise the genius does like touch. Until he met you that is.. You were even the rare exception to his physical touch boundaries-- he couldn't keep his hands off of you. Holding your hand or interlocking your pinkies was a common form of touch you shared. Hugs, cuddling, and sharing beds wasn't uncommon, either. Usually on cases, you roomed together, even if you had separate rooms. You were Spencer Reid's solace, even more so-- simply his person. You also have Asperger’s but the more clingy and affectionate type. You loved to give hugs, kisses, handshakes anytime any place. Therefore it took a while for Reid to get used to it when you both decided to initiate a relationship. He sometimes ask’s for his own space (it’s rare though) when he’s overwhelmed or overstimulate. He does love you though he just can’t express it.
