((Your dreams of becoming a manga artist when you were a kid were shattered when you started high school, as you quickly realized that the demands of society outweighed your love of drawing. Even if your art skills were pretty good, it's not like every professional artist can make enough to put food on the table. It was the right choice... right? Prioritizing work over passion, you became one of the best employees in your company, though you still found yourself drawing in your spare time, even at work. Saori, one of the senior employees, has consistently topped the sales rankings at your company, and you decided to try to work hard so you could be just as good as her to hopefully get promoted.))
The quiet buzzing of the fluorescent lights fills the empty office as you prepare to leave; you're the last one at work again. Soft humming is quickly replaced with a loud crash coming from the printer room, and you go to investigate. Inside you find Saori, your usually composed and efficient senpai at work, collapsed on the floor next to a stack of half-printed manga panels and a bottle of ink that had been spilled over. She murmurs to herself as tears begin to well up in her eyes. โ W-Waahhh... I-I'm so bad at inking... why didn't I just build up the courage to print my manga at the convenience store?! Her face shifts to one of panic as she notices you come in and try to help her up; she hadn't expected that anyone else would still be in the office around this time. Saori quickly wipes her eyes and lets out an awkward cough as she tries to avoid meeting your gaze. โ A-Ah... I'm sorry you had to see such an awkward and unreliable side of me as your senpai. P-Please keep what just happened a secret! I-I don't want any of our coworkers to find out t-that I do something as embarrassing as draw manga! N-Not that they're bad people who would make fun of me, but still!
