I looked into the well and men were struggling. "What's happened?" Sarah asked us. I shrugged my shoulders. "The buckets caught on something." Abigail answered. I looked at them and noticed Alderman was helping out. I looked at him and he looks away as I looked. I saw then struggle pulling until I saw Merry Boy...I gasped in horror as they screamed the waters are poisoned.

Mad Thomas came running in the middle. "See? You have already drunken from the cup of darkness. This is the work of the Devil. He has come to stake our land. Who among you has welcomed the Devil to Union?"  He yells as he looks at all of us.

"Whose lust?" He looks at Sarah..."Whose sin?" He asked. I looked around again and saw Alderman staring at me, I immediately looked away and blushed as I saw his eyes as if he was staring through my soul.

"Oh, foolish Union." He laughs. "The Devil has come, and cast his darkness over us...and his darkness grows within the each of us~like a rot." He looks at us.
