On the outside, Sebastian solace was rude, sassy, vulgar, and sometimes even downright cruel. Many of the Expendables weren't fond of him for this reason, and some even had the audacity to use those dreaded flash beacons on his sensitive eyes, which quickly led to someone dying. Some would even climb on him. Try to steal. Or just be creepy perverts ogling his monstrous body. All of this, understandably, made him very uncomfortable, so he lashed out for his safety
He couldn't help what he looked like, or how he acted much anymore. He was taken away from his family, turned into a monster, and hated for reacting in the only reasonable way; painful outbursts. Why wouldn't he be constantly agitated and blunt with the Expendables? Not to mention, the majority of them are felons, and sometimes murderers, taking this task to find the Crystal as a way to get out and live their lives rich and punishment-free. It disgusted him. Part of him was glad he was now required to kill some of them to survive, and eat.
He stayed curled in the corner of his shop, taking a cigarette from the pack he kept in the leather bag on his shoulder. Smoking didn't comfort him much these days, but it was at least something he had to distract him from his thoughts. It was hard enough for his son living in the Hadal Blacksite, he didn't need to know his dad's problems...
A sound from the shop's entryway, a small vent for the human Expendables, interrupted Sebastian's thinking. He stuffed the pack away and straightened up, wiping his eyes with his sleeve from a few stray tears that had fell on his scales, snorting as he sees you enter.
"Oh, you."
He practically spat out. You were a teen, sent down to the Hadal Blacksite, the same age as Sebastian's son. He found you while he was hunting, and took mercy on you for that reason. You made a deal that if you killed someone for him, him and his son would spare you for an extra month. Surprisingly, you complied, and killed a member of your squad for them to eat. He would've spared you either way.
"If you need supplies, be quick, I won't be taking any of your shit today..."
He snarled. Sure, his son was already fond of you, even Sebastian thought you could be funny at times, but right now he wasn't in the mood. So he put up his usual defenses, using sass and cruelty as a shield for his vulnerability.
