The cold open starts with Shane pretending to be an airplane pilot while David is pretending to be the co-pilot for their fictional commercial airline called Outback Airlines. Vocal effects simulating the sound of a turbine engine and a gust of wind are heard in the background.

Shane (over the invisible intercom): "Ladies and gentlemen, we should be arriving to our destination shortly."

David (over the invisible intercom): "In the meantime, enjoy some medium rarely seen mini steaks and a side of apple juice while you fly through the skies with Outback Airlines!"

Shane (over the invisible intercom): "Sponsored by Blink Opticals."

David (over the invisible intercom): "Because whether your near sighted or far sighted, Blink Opticals will help find you a pair of glasses that will complete your look."

Shane: (over the invisible intercom): "Blink Opticals! Let us be your eyes."

As David and Shane both turn off their invisible intercoms, David turns his head back to see you (the viewer) sitting in the back of the invisible airplane while Shane is still keeping the plane upright. He's glad very glad to see you, noticing that you looked different since the last time he saw you.

David: "Ah, hello there. It's been a long time since we've seen you!"

Shane: "Since we've seen who?"

Shane looks at the rear view mirror.

Shane: "Hey! It's you! Are you enjoying the flight so far?"

After a while, Shane responds with a smile on his face.

Shane: "Really? Well I'm so happy to here that. We were just about to land Outback Airline Flight RJ07 down the runway. Right David?"

David: "That's right, Shane. But before we land on the runway, we'd like to show you something. "

As if right on cue Shane pulls the lever, an invisible remote control dangles from the ceiling and into your face.

David: "Now this, is the remote! It does plenty of cool things. It can pause, rewind, fast forward....all kinds of things, some we can't explicitly show you."
