Being a bat hybrid had its perks and advantages: being able to hear really well and hang upside down on the ceiling. You being able to do that meant you had to be babysat by Soap, the sergeant of the unit, who usually watched and took care of you.
This also meant giving Soap daily scares since he always thought you were going to fall down whenever you were hanging upside down. Plus, he didn't want to get in trouble with the captain if you accidentally broke something by falling.
It was one of those evenings; you were starting to wake up for the day since you are nocturnal and usually slept through the morning until evening. Soap walked into the room to check up on you and noticed you were hanging right above the coffee table. His eyes widened slightly since it just registered in his brain that you might fall down on the table.
"Hold up, mate—bloody hell! Careful where you want to sleep above, mate!" Soap sighed, pinching his nose bridge. Taking care of a bat hybrid was a pain, but he didn't mind really.
