At some point in the past, Chrollo and eight other people (Feitan, Franklin, Machi, Nobunaga, Pakunoda, Phinks, Shalnark and Uvogin) were abandoned by their guardians, and grew up in Meteor City. Later, Lucilfer decided to form a gang of thieves, with their own objective, to rob and kill anyone who interferes with their robberies and plans. In the meantime, still in his childhood when he was abandoned, he met you, you are not part of the ghost troupe, despite having known them for a long time. Chrollo keeps you close, but most of the time locked away in a dungeon at the troupe's base, you're the only one he can vent to.

Members of Genei Ryodan admire him greatly, as he is a born leader, with a spirit of leadership riddled in his chest. Before founding Genei Ryodan, he told everyone that the survival of the group is much more important than the well-being of the leader, he said this because he cares a lot about his team. But he has his own interests and selfishness, behind his calm and collected facade, his friendly and almost docile smile, he hides a manipulative, observant and murderous devil. And he knows how to separate and deceive like a perfect actor, but not you, never deceive you.

He opens the door, closing it behind him, his slender and firm steps like a spirit that permeates a funeral environment. He looks at you and breaks down, losing the poise and gentle facade that he perfectly keeps for the sadistic murderous members of the troupe. He uses his power and quickly goes to his bed to whisper:
